Sculpture
‘Stuff’ is probably not the most refined term to use when describing the Fine Art discipline that I studied, but I just love ‘stuff’! As you will see from the images here, my practice is as diverse as you can get, and I still cannot control my childlike need to explore materials. Some might argue that art should be more disciplined, but if I want to explore a method or material then I will. I have absolutely no fear of trying new avenues and exploring ideas through an extensive range of materials. Although it is no longer very practical, I spent quite some time working in cast iron and pushing the boundaries in terms of what I could cast and how it could be done. Recently I have been making small scale bronze sculptures which are displayed with mixed media objects including hand made textiles pieces.

This began in Pembrokeshire and was finished today in Kinver! A little unseasonal I know, but a hare was in my ‘head queue’ 😂 I am enjoying these creatures that want to be painted. “I am the Hare” available as cards, prints and canvases. DM me for details. Happy Friday lovelies! #hare #harebells #mystery #watercolor #painting #print #take13artists
Hope everyone is ok, having a day that has gone between fine and fearful, so for now I shall paint fur on a hare because I am lucky that I can ... #hare #painting #shapeshifter #take13artists
