Fold

Commissioned by Meadow Arts for their Picture This exhibition.

This piece was made in response to the foot and most crisis which changed the shape of our English landscape for quite some time. Based on a traditional sheep fold, I used 25 tonnes of rough field stone and made resin gilded lambs hearts to insert between the stones. The work was made in a wild flower meadow and was re-commissioned for a second year the following summer.
